Is Shanghai Ned?
The Shanghai Ned series are letters/stories individually addressed to children – using only their first names – from Shanghai Ned.
Shanghai Ned is an amateur adventurer and sometime sleuth. The letters relate Ned’s globe-trotting adventurous exploits and mysteries and include photos, drawings, maps, historical facts and/or geographical information as an educational tool and to help establish the story’s setting. The letters vary in length to accommodate different reading times but generally take between 10 – 15 minutes to read.
Please Note -- Quality Time Tales are NOT written to teach deeply moral, political, religious, or spiritual values. This is neither the intent nor the responsibility of Quality Time Tales. And while these letter/stories often contain elements of mystery or intrigue, no characters die nor are any seriously wounded in physical struggles.
